Log into Your Accounts
Make sure you're logged into the social media accounts you want to connect:
Connect Your Accounts
Go to your Magnetite dashboard and click on any "Add Account" button. The extension will automatically detect and connect your logged-in accounts.

The Magnetite extension only accesses session cookies needed for API authentication. We never store passwords, and all data is encrypted both in transit and at rest. The extension works entirely in your browser - your credentials never pass through our servers.
Troubleshooting
Extension not detecting my account
- Make sure you're logged into the platform in the same browser
- Refresh the platform's page after logging in
- Try clearing your browser cache and logging in again
- Ensure the extension has permissions for the site
Connection expired or not working
Session tokens expire when you log out or after extended periods. Simply:
- Log back into the platform
- Go to Magnetite account settings
- Click "Reconnect" for the affected account
Multiple accounts on the same platform
To connect multiple accounts from the same platform:
- Connect your first account normally
- Open an incognito/private window
- Log into your second account there
- Install the extension in the incognito window
- Connect the second account
